Guest guest Posted December 18, 2007 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 * Exported from MasterCook * Cold Noodles with Tahini Dressing Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Vegan Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound Vermicelli 3 tablespoons Tahini 2 cloves Garlic -- finely minced 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Salt and pepper 1 tablespoon Water 1/2 cup Olive oil Mix tahini, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and water. Blend until smooth. Gradually add the olive oil, while whisking until smooth and medium thick. Boil the vermicelli and drain. Cool under water and toss with sauce. Add fresh vegetables if desired. Serves 2 main dishes, or 4 side dishes. I used 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes and added a little more. If you need a quick dinner, just add a bag of your favorite frozen vegetables rinsed under hot running tap water and tossed with the hot pasta. It makes up nicely with orange juice as well.
