Carrot Cinnamon Bread Marilyn

LOL I've only used frozen bananas to make smoothies or ice cream. I hadn't

thought about doing it for this. Do they thaw with a nice texture for making

banana bread?

I buy bananas when on sale, peel them and freeze them.

Yes, I second the recommendation for freezing bananas. Once I had

several boxes since my partner works on food commercials and they

were using them in filming, and were going trough lots and lots of

bananas. Gave a bunch to the neighbors and still had about 3 large

boxes left....so I peeled and bagged them, filled the freezer pretty

much. The frozen bananas are great for frozen deserts, for banana

strawberry smoothies (we also had strawberries that went trough he

same fate)and to make banana bread! it does not matter at all that

the bananas were previously frozen, the taste and texture of the

bread is the same! what a nice discovery isn't?
