Guest guest
I took a loaf and a half of Donna's banana bread to a place where I hang out (went over huge, I got a marriage proposal out of it, thanks Donna!), made 8 dozen cookies (pecan sandies & snickerdoodles) for a cookie exchange, some of wht I got I packaged up for a 'specials' teacher appreciation cookie plate thing at the school. I might try some toffee today, I have a recipe I've never tried. Guest guest
I was so excited when my school was canceled today and my kids still had school ( they weren't) I ran to the store and bought all the stuff and will spend the day baking for co-workers, teachers and family. I am making peanut butter fudge, peanut butter no bake bars, Neiman Marcus cookies and chocolate pretzels. What is everyone baking this year to give as gifts? =^.^= Steph Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search.
Guest guest
At my house (with my daughter's help): fudge, penuche, cream cheese sugar cookies, gingerbread cookies, iced pumpkin cookies, spritz, lemon bars, blondies, 3-chocolate-chip cookies And maybe some quick breads. Made the fudge yesterday and put some in those little star-shaped foil pans. My daughter is giving that to several of her friends. My daughter is also making maple cheesecake for her grandfather, who specially requested it after she made it for Thanksgiving.
