Guest guest
Hi T Smith, Well depending on whether you are a vegan, or a lacto ovo vegetarian or a combination of the two depends on how much and what types of proteins you can have. You need fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts and seeds and good quality fats. You also may have eggs and dairy if you're plan allows it. Stay away from the white stuff and sugar. Make sure you eat whole grains such as brown rice, quinoa, millet, whole wheat if you don't have an allergy to it. For Breakfast you can have a bowl of oatmeal with berries, or a banana. Or you can, have a Smoothie with a good quality protein powder, a banana, and add either soy milk or regular non fat milk depending on what you follow. For a snack eat a handful of either pumpkin seeds or sesame seeds, for lunch a large salad or a sandwich, for dinner you can have bean patties, or Tofu loaf or patties or a stir fry with Tofu chunks added on top of whole grain Noodles or rice. The possibilities are endless. Soy is rich in protein, as is Quinoa, and Peanut butter and bread is a whole protein. Whey powder is a whole protein, Beans and Rice is a whole protein. The good thing about this is you will be doing something positive for your body. Make sure you eat a protein with every meal. You need to exercise minimally 30 minutes three times a week, but personally I think you need a half an hour a day. Hope this helps Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search.
