Guest guest
I still hold precious two blankets that a friend knit for me, when both of my children were born. I think it is wonderful that you do that for others. Especially the chemo patients. The thoughtfulness means so much to those going thru crises or big changes in their lives. I do this with my knitting. I had some good baby yarn so I made a unisex blanket, ready for the next pregnant friend. I also make dishrags pretty regularly, & scarves. I'm getting ready to knit up a bunch of chemo caps and maybe some mittens for the local shelters. Amy **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products. Guest guest
Something else the elderly and chemo patients like is the neck pillows that are shaped in a c that wrap around their neck. My mother in law is currently on chemo and she uses this type of pillow every time we go for treatment. This is probably what she will get for the holidays. It is stuffed with little bead like things and she loves it. Just my two cents worth. Guest guest
also at Walmart you can buy Provo Craft round knitting looms that are very easy to learn to make a hat! its really FU N to make them and even kids can do it! I am enjoying making baby ones! " Controlling the minor details of your own life will have a ripple effect to the far reaches of your universe. Guest guest
awww that is so sweet Judy. My 12 year old, Sanna, still sleeps with her blanket that my mom crocheted her. Lily never took to a particular blanket like Sanna did. Sanna loves that blanket and has a way of turning the hem through her fingers when she is tired or thinking. I'll have to look for a knitting pattern for this. Shouldn't be hard to wing one though. Amy **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products.
