Guest guest
Dear all, It's a great pleasure to join this very active . Morocco is known for its high quality Saffron. It is mostly grown in the mountainous region of Taliouine between Ouarzazate and Agadir by Berber population who are living in this part of Morocco for thousand years. This is a recipe for making saffron rice: Heat oil in a large skillet. Stir in the onion, pepper & rice. Fry over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until the rice becomes golden, about 15 minutes. Add spices & 2 cup water & bring to a boil. Reduce heat & simmer about 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed. The ingredients are: 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil, 1 medium yellow onion (chopped), 1 Green bell pepper (chopped), 1 cup long-grain rice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon salt pepper, 1/4 teaspoon saffron. I hope you can find a real saffron in the market nearby. Enjoy.
