Holiday - Hasselback Potatoes

I have prepared these potatoes many times since getting this recipe and can

really recommend them, they are fabulous!

Hasselback Potatoes

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 pounds potatoes

1 tablespoon sunflower oil

1 3/4 ounces butter

1 teaspoon paprika

coarse sea salt

 

Heat oven to 200C/Fan 180C/Gas 6. Peel the potatoes and place in a pan of

cold water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10-15 mins, then drain and pat

dry.

 

Beginning 1cm/1/2 inch from the end, carefully make cuts 3mm/1/8 in apart

along the potato, but without cutting all the way through. Repeat with the

remaining potatoes.

 

Heat the oil and butter in a small pan and add the paprika. Place the

potatoes in a roasting tin and brush them with the flavoured oil and butter.

Roast for 40-50 mins until golden brown and tender. Serve sprinkled with

sea salt.
