Guest guest
Oh yes use yellow so it can match the recipe name I gave it. I saw your review mentioning using green peas instead of yellow ones but I have a whole heap of yellow so will use them but was really unsure about the red pepper flakes. Can’t wait to try this tomorrow :-). I omited the black pepper when I made this. I also used cayenne(ground instead of chili flakes. It is very good. BTW I used green split peas, because I didn't have any yellow ones and it is very good that way too. Red pepper to me means a large pepper, what I think you call a bell pepper in the States? This is not something hot at all. But we get chilli flakes which are red, and hot, is this the right thing to put in my soup? Thanks!
