Cleo 7oz Quorn pieces from left over roast 1 tbsp olive oil 1/2 red onion, peeled and finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped 5 tbsp red wine 2 tbsp tomato ketchup 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 1 tbsp chopped fresh chervil 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil salt and freshly ground black pepper For the onion rings: 1/2 red onion, peeled and sliced into rings 2 tsps olive oil In a medium sauté pan heat the oil for the Quorn. sauté the onion for 1-2 minutes to soften. Add the garlic. Pour in the red wine and cook off for 1 minute. Stir in the ketchup, nutmeg and Quorn until browned. Simmer until cooked through. Meanwhile, place a skillet pan on the heat. In a small bowl coat the onion with the oil. Cook the onion until softened and well charred. Season the Quorn and fold in the chervil and basil. Serve the Quorn on the top of onion with a side of steamed rice. ______________________________\ ____ Never miss a thing.
