Thank you for having me in your group!

 

I currently live in Colorado but plan on moving to Idaho sometime after I

retire next year. I'll be closer to family...but not too close.

 

I was a vegetarin in the early 90's for several years, but probably for the

wrong reason; I was involved in a group that had a lot of vegetarians. After I

moved here from Phoenix I went back to my old ways.

 

Several months ago I thought about having been a vegetarian, and how I felt (a

lot better than I had since). Since then I've read The Food Revolution and

currently reading The Omnivore's Dilemna. Amazing, scary stuff! So I've been a

vegetarian since September, but this time for myself, the animals and Earth.

Currently lacto- but working towards vegan...I've been reading lots of

vegetarian cookbooks, and with all the baking I want to do I was surprised at

all the egg substitues. Interesting stuff!

 

I enjoy gardening though I don't currently have much room. Spend too much

time on the computer. Other than that, work takes most of my time...I'll be

really happy to be getting out of here!
