Guest guest
Hi all! I'm new here, but have been a vegetarian since 1988. I've been reading for a few days now & searing the archives. What an awesome time of year to discover this group!! I just wanted to share two of my family's favorite Thanksgiving recipes. We replaced the green-bean casserole with the creamy spinach and artichoke one year & I am now expected to show up with a double batch so everyone can have seconds! The squash & apples is a simple, throw in the crock pot the night before side dish that is very appropriate and tasty! Enjoy! Andi
Guest guest
Hi Andi, welcome to the garden of earthly delights! I can't wait to try your recipes, that way I can have the best of both worlds since my daughter in love always brings the TNT green bean casserole. She'd be a vegetarian in a heartbeat, and actually was when she lived here, and enjoys pigging out on veggies and fruit when she is here. My grandson has his chef's knife and paring knife ready to cut up the squash and apples, so I guess we are having that tonight. This makes two cooking monsters I've unleased on the world. One of our godson's turned the entire family on to vegetarian life (including his shoes made of hemp fibers), and the one who lives here is trying new, non flesh foods. Muahahahahaha!!!!! Thanks again, and welcome! Jeanne in GA Andrea Lockhart <andi22 wrote: Hi all! I'm new here, but have been a vegetarian since 1988. I've been reading for a few days now & searing the archives.
