Guest guest Posted November 15, 2007 Report Share Posted November 15, 2007 Fruit Crisp : 2 Servings Contains Wheat/Gluten Vegetarian GERD-Friendly Diabetes-Friendly Reproduced with permission from " ADA Cookbooks " © American Diabetes Association ® Ingredients 1 apple(s), sliced 2 teaspoon lemon juice 2 teaspoon margarine, low calorie 1/2 cup(s) oats, quick-cooking 1 1/2 package(s) sugar substitute, heat-stable, (not aspertame) 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground Preparation 1. Divide apple slices equally between two 6-oz. custard cups. Sprinkle each with lemon juice. 2. Microwave margarine in a small dish 15 to 20 seconds on High or until softened. 3. Mix in oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spoon evenly over apples. 4. Microwave both dishes 2 to 3 minutes on High or until apples are tender.
