Guest guest Posted November 14, 2007 Report Share Posted November 14, 2007 Tofu Hot Pot for 1 3 ozs. firm tofu 1 small onion, chopped 1 small carrot, chopped 1 stalk celery, chopped 1 tsp. butter or margarine 1 cup water 1 tsp. veg. broth 1 tsp. soy sauce Saute chopped vegetables in butter or margarine in a saucepan for two minutes, stirring frequently. Add water and broth. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes until vegetables are tender. Cut tofu into approximately 3/4 inch cubes. Add to pot. Heat through. Season with soy sauce. Hint: Substitute potatoes, Bok Choy, Sui Choy or chopped cabbage for celery or to add to the variety in the pot. Add any colourful garnish such as green or red pepper, green onions, chives or parsley. Serves 1. ______________________________\ ____ Never miss a thing.
