Guest guest
Hi Audrey. Please can you tell me why Quorn is banned in Cananada? I have heard that people wait over an hour to get through the first check point and then another hour or so paying tax and/or duty on what they bought. It's still cheaper to buy across the border, but I do not line up for anything - even Quorn. > > I'll be sure to buy lots of Quorn next summer when I'm in England. > ( > ) > ( > __ > c\_/ Audrey > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi Christie I'm not exactly sure why Quorn is banned but is has something to do with the Gardenburger people here objecting to the wording of the ingredients. I don't have a package here since I vacuum bag all of the Quorn I buy. Since the Garden burgers are mushroom based, they objected to the base ingredient that is not from mushrooms but gives that suggestion. There was a battle over it and since Canada is not seen as a huge market, Quorn gave up. I don't blame them but I think they are wrong about the number of vegetarians in Canada. We are sooooooooo deprived but we have some new products that I'm starting to like as well as Quorn and Costco even carried one of them recently. I bought a box, liked the product and decided to buy more.. It must have been a test because they are all gone now. Have a great day ( ) ( __ c\_/ Audrey
