Yes I agree, bring on the oloves, any kind of an olive tastes good to me.

They do not taste the same, but they are both good in salads. If you

are making a Greek salad then kalamata would be more authentic, but I

would eat any salad you make with the pimento stuffed ones too!

They do not taste the same, but they are both good in salads. If you

are making a Greek salad then kalamata would be more authentic, but I

would eat any salad you make with the pimento stuffed ones too!

If you're making something like Pasta Putanesca, skip the green salad olives and

go for

the black kalamata olives (the sundried Niçoise olives are a good substitute

too). I

find that the green ones lose their flavour in a sauce.
