Slow Cooker One Pot Rice Pilaf - Tofu

1 1/2 cups seitan, cut into pieces

1 onion, chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped

1/2 cup green peas

1 carrot, chopped

1/4 cup dry white wine

2 1/2 cups vegetable broth

1 3/4 cups rice

 

 

 

 

Combine all the ingredients in a crock pot. Cook on

low for 6 to 8 hours.

ChupNote: I browned the onion, celery, carrot and rice

in olive oil before adding to slow cooker. Added 1/4

teaspoon to oil and veggies, swishing around to

release the scent before it went into the crock.
