Guest guest
I don't have luck making the large jack-o-lantern pumpkins onto pies. The sugar pumpkins are best for this. Anyone else have a failed pumpkin pie from scratch experience? Leslie
Guest guest
Indeed I have had a disaster. I only use the small deep orange sugar pumpkins for pies. Now I will use the Halloween type pumpkin for baking, I put butter, cinnamon and maple syrup on it. Guest guest
If they rave about the pie made from Libby's, it works for me. My time is limited and canned pumpkin is fine. Although roasting pumpkin seeds is an annual event with my son, and I won't pass that one up even if we burn them. ~B
