Climate-Change Fungus is Wiping out Frogs

An infectious fungus aggravated by global warming has killed entire populations

of frogs in Central and South America and driven some species to extinction.

 

 

 

i remember years and years ago, prolly in the late 70's, watching some show on

PBS, maybe NOVA...anyways..it was on the Costa Rican cloud forest

and they showed these yellow frogs, called Golden Toads

gorgeous lil things

then, many years later, watched another special..and they said they had all

vanished..and they showed the same footage from all those years earlier..stating

this was the only known film of the species

 

 

 

 

1000 miles of endless screams, where all the dead heroes lay

I've got the choice to set my knife, I've got the courage to set my life

I've got the day I'll pick to die. Gotta hate someone, I don't know why

I'll fight for a better way, be a dead hero for the U.S.A.

I think I had heard once that 95% of all wildlife forms have been wiped out, meaning out of all wildlife ever, but I'm not sure in what time frame or how they could figger that.
