Guest guest
Hey! I think I'll ask my city, too. I used to use distilled water; I wonder about that? I wonder how eco friendly the processing of distilled water is? I wonder if it uses alot of energy? More than processing city water? Oh brother--send me your plans for a cistern . . .ha! It rains alot in Washington State! Guest guest
What I am curious about and don't exactly know how to research is if boiling the water for say 7 minutes gets what we want out via the steam...I know that the chlorine taste dissipates and our water isn't fluoridated (bad spelling I?) I won't buy the stuff in the store anymore as most of it is now coming from "springs" or other city wells so why would I do that? The small bottles that go through the different processes are too small, and I have to go a bit to get to the machines that filtrate the water and what with gas prices and pollution I am trying to cut back on driving as much as possible. Does anyone know about the effectiveness of boiling the water? You think WA has a lot of rain...I lived on Whidbey Island for lots of years and was in Seattle a great deal. Now I live in OR on the Western side one hour from the coast and it rains ever so much more here and is ever so much more depressing. Guest guest
Luckily in the UK there is only one area 'up north' that uses bones for water production.
