Guest guest
Devilish Nuts 1 pound shelled pecans 1/3 cup melted butter 1 tablespoon vegetarian style worcestershire sauce ½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce ¼ teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon salt Mix everything together but the pecans, and then toss with pecans. Spread pecans on baking sheet and bake at 300* for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool before serving or store, tightly covered. I make these quite often during pecan harvest time. Right now we have a large 100 pound bag to shell. You can make then hotter or milder, depending on your tastes. Sometimes I make candied pecans and add the vegetarian Worcestershire sauce and tabasco for Sweet and Spicy Nuts. Jeanne in GA
Guest guest
I love spiced nuts and this sounds good. I finally got a bottle of some vegetarian worceshire sauce. I haven't tried it yet, but hope it is good. - treazure noname Tuesday, October 30, 2007 7:31 PM Devilish Nuts Devilish Nuts 1 pound shelled pecans 1/3 cup melted butter 1 tablespoon vegetarian style worcestershire sauce ½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce ¼ teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon salt Mix everything together but the pecans, and then toss with pecans.
