Guest guest
Hi everyone ! I was going through my soup recipes trying to find something new and thought how wonderful some pumpkin soup would be. Problem is that I can not find " The right one " . So0o0o I am asking, does everyone have a FAVORITE Pumpkin Soup Recipe that they use? If so, how about posting it so we can all try a new one ! I'll bake the Beer Bread to go with it. ............... Whole Wheat Beer Bread INGREDIENTS • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour • 1 Tablespoon baking powder • 1/2 teaspoons salt • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar. 3. Pour in beer, stir until a stiff batter is formed. It may be necessary to mix dough with your hands. 4. Scrape dough into prepared loaf pan. 5. Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean 6. NOTE: You may add cheese or herbs as you like before baking 7. NOTE: You may add ¼ - ½ cup melted BUTTER to the top before baking. 8. NOTE: Try adding some oatmeal to the top before baking for extra crunch.
