Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just recently joined the group but have been vegetarian for nearly 8 years. I was looking through some of the recipes and have decided I'd like to try one of the 'chicken' flavoured soups - one of my favourites years ago was chicken and rice. However, I live in the UK (Scotland) and I've never seen any of the 'chicken' flavoured broth or 'chicken' seasoning that is listed in the ingredients. Does anyone from the UK know if something like that is available here and where I could get it? Thanks Diane
Guest guest
Hi Diane Wow - another Scot! I've never seen vegetarian " chicken " broth over here either. I googled a recipe for it though: http://www.astray.com/recipes/?show=Basic%20%22chicken%22%20broth Nutritional yeast is available in health food stores under the name Engevita and I believe that you can get poultry seasoning in the herbs and spices area of a supermarket but you would ned to check the ingredients. This recipe is not TNT by me - I hate the taste of meat.
