Guest guest
I am so thankful that mandatory evacuations and even in other areas that don't have evacuations orders yet, that folks are leaving. The death toll and rescues needed could be as high as some of our hurricanes down here in the southeast, had you not. This all reminds me so much of what we face when we have hurricanes here, no power, no water, no gas, loosing everything one owns, homes destroyed, neighborhoods forever gone and changed, animals to try to figure out what to do with when going in to shelters, roads closed, infrastructures destroyed, major cleanups, heartache for your loss, but what you are also dealing with is the continual horror of the fires spreading and the terrible breathing conditions from all the thick smoke and ash everywhere with blackend landscapes for years to come. Even when homes aren't destroyed, the smoke damage to everything in your home will be great. A million people evacuated. Wow, nothing else compares to what you guys are experiencing. I know the hurt is deep. My hearts and prayers are going out to all of you. We care about what is happening to all of you. Let us know what we can do to help.
