Guest guest Posted October 24, 2007 Report Share Posted October 24, 2007 Armenian Pilaf 1 cup rice 1/2 cube butter or margarine 2 cups broth 1/2 cup spaghetti, uncooked add your favorite seasoning or herbs Melt 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter in a heavy pan. Break spaghetti into 1-inch pieces and brown. Add rice and stir until rice begins to pearl or look whiter. When 1/3 has pearled, add broth, seasoning or herbs and remaining butter. Bring to a boil and then turn down to simmer. Simmer, covered, 20 to 25 minutes. Uncover and stir. Adjust seasonings.
