Golly, all I need is this site, The Feral Vegetarian, and the Internet.

I have a bookcase filled with cookbooks; a few from the 1800's. As long

as there are folks like Chupa Babi and others, posting, I am a very

happy camper. Believe me, cooking for a living for forty years relieves

one of the need to collect; if I like it, I print it and cook it. You

are such a grand bunch of folks.

Blessings, and Happy Fall, ya'all, Jack

Same here Jack, I do have a few cookbooks (maybe 15 or so? none from

the 1800 though, how cool is that?) and I used them more during pre-

internet times. Besides, my current recipe need is based on having a

lot of produce from the garden or extras from food commercial jobs.

So it is easier to type in Goggle 'banana bread' or 'drying tomatoes'

for example, than to search trough a bunch of cookbooks. I actually

use the search function here on this site more than the recipe files

too. It is different than browsing trough cookbooks and saying, ah,

nice recipe, I will now go to the store and purchase the ingredients.

It has been a while since I did that.
