Guest guest
I do like the one cookbook per month idea. Only I end up trying recipes from the files most of he time. I think I like the Tried and True idea a little better (:- ) Sometimes. I have a Chinese vegetarian cookbook with a bunch of post it notes, that's the next cookbook I'm going to cook from. Her solution is to chose one cookbook per month and then cook out of it. I thought this was a great idea! I tend to sit and look through all my cookbooks and I stick bookmarks all over the place then I can't remember what I wanted to make or where the recipe was located -- was it in one of my cookbooks? was it on this group? was it on one of the websites I frequent? I'm trying to take better notes. :-) Sharon judgesqueen wrote: > Until I became vegetarian I had this habit, would even mark in the > book a recipe I wanted to try, but always just ended up doing old > standbys, lol. >
Guest guest
LOl Sharon, I was afraid to say I didn't care for them. I love the Enchanted Broccoli Forest by Mollie. The others I just don't connect with, not that they are bad books because they have a huge 5 star following. I know it is a matter of taste. I trade cookbooks with people that will tell me they think a cookbook is terrible or nothing attrated them and yet I will find many wonderful recipes and consider the new book one of my favorites.
