Basil - Deanna

Deanna,

I miss my fresh basil more than any of the other too. I try to gather all of it

before the first frost. Thankfully it is still quite hot here and mine is

being super prolific this year. I fertilized it last week and it has doubled on

leaves and size. I have two different kinds of Basil plants, but about 10

plants in the large patio pot. Is is so lush. How do you dry yours? Just

lay it out on the counter to dry or do you use some other method?

sorry to say the Basil is

going..I am drying as much as I can. I will certainly miss the Basil

more than any of the herbs.
