I do spice up most everything. Our hot sauce collection doesn't rival Tios, our local Mexican joint, but I have at least a dozen (frequently used, not a collection) and very specific applications for each. For instance, for eggs it is Tios #4 or Chalupa. Veggie sandwich is Tapatio. Cabbage is Texas Pete. Tabasco is last resort only. amy ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
I knew I'd strike a chord with the cilantro remark. Hahahahaha. I will eat it, if someone else prepares the dish; a friend puts it in lasagna and everything else. I'm not going to run out and stock up, but I like peppers right from the vine. My Hispanic neighbors are amazed at my capacity for hot stuff. Give me hot peppers, the sharpest of cheeses, sauerkraut, and kim chee, but keep the cilantro. Blessings, Jack P.S. Does anyone have a good kim chee recipe; no little stuff from the sea,or cilantro, thank you.
