Guest guest
I just ordered the PDQ cookbook, looks like a good one for me, thanks for the mention. I'm pretty much self taught, my first vegetarian cookbook was Passionate Vegetarian by Cresent Dragonwheel or some such last name. I made a few things and really like this cookbook, the food tastes like it took lots of preparation to make and yet the meals are ready in 30 mins or less. > Donna > Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile > > > Steph <mrswalp29 > > Mon, 1 Oct 2007 10:36:35 > To:vegetarian group > New American Vegetarian Menu Cookbook > > > Does anyone have this cookbook? Guest guest
My all-time favorite is Cooking from an Italian Garden by Paola Scaravelli and Jon Cohen. It's pretty much lacto-ovo, but there are plenty of vegan items as well. I've never made any recipe from there that didn't turn out wonderfully, and many of the recipes serve as jumping-off points for the imagination.
