Guest guest
It's been a gradual thing for me becoming vegan. Started out vegetarian as a child (which in itself took years), then stopped eggs and milk in my mid twenties but not egg mixed in other things or milk in other forms such as cheese, ice cream, etc till mid thirties. It's been only a year now that I've done the full vegan thing. I don't really care about my hubby and kids eating milk/eggs so haven't made much changes in my cooking for them with exception of dinnertime as that's when I'm there eating with them. This group has been a great help for recipes, and I also love using recipes from menumailer.net (the regular menu with vegetarian options, not the vegetarian menu one because I like the homestyle taste of the regular one w/ vegetarian options better and anyway now that I'm a vegan the regular one is also easier to adapt than the vegetarian one). Anyway I didn't really plan on becoming vegan, it just happened though I kind of had a feeling it would eventually. Kate
