Guest guest
I lost my bag of dates & I want to try this tonight! How much sugar would you use as a substitute for the dates? (I made steel cut crock pot oat meal last night & my recipe called for dried dates. I KNOW I've got a bag & couldn't find them any where last night!!) thanks, Rhoda On 9/25/07, Mick <mickcanyon wrote: > > My grandsons want these every time they come over. > > Carob Date Brownie Mix > > 1 1/2 cup whole-wheat pastry flour or unbleached all purpose flour > 1/4 cup carob powder > 1/2 tsp. baking powder > 1/2 tsp. baking soda > 1/4 tsp. salt > 8 ozs. pitted dates > > Sift together first five ingredients.
