Guest guest Posted September 23, 2007 Report Share Posted September 23, 2007 I have been listening to everything favorable about the rice cooker, but I turn out perfect brown rice, with a covered casserole, in my microwave. Is there a reason I shouldn't cook it that way; perhaps, I am losing food value? When I make stews with rice, I either cook the rice separately or throw it in the pot with whatever I'm cooking.
