1 pound fresh asparagus spears or 1 (10 ounce)

package frozen asparagus spears

2 ounces processed Swiss cheese -- (1/2 cup) shredded

2 tbl chopped canned pimiento

2 tsp sesame seed -- toasted

 

In a 10 inch skillet, cook asparagus spears in boiling salted water

until tender. Drain. Toss together cheese, pimiento and sesame

seed. Sprinkle over spears. Heat in a 350 degree oven just until

the cheese melts. (78 calories per serving).
