Guest guest
I'm in Calif and don't think we have this store but I do know shopping at 3 Whole Foods in my area I will see a huge difference in the freshness and quality of produce. One store will have such fresh produce and the next won't. Guest guest
It's interesting...Dover-Foxcroft has a huge new-ish Shaw's which carries a LOT of stuff that I wasn't previously able to find in Maine. Hannaford (an old small store) is keeping up fairly well and in fact, when it comes to produce, I can often find items that I couldn't find at Shaw's. I'm really surprised to hear this as I've found their prices to be much better than the A & P where I used to do all my shopping. In fact much, much better.....some items a dollar less and some even a dollar and change less. Maybe because the store is new they're doing their best to suck people in, but I would hope not. I guess only time will tell. I think it's a beautiful store with a remarkable variety and I've been beyond happy with the service and the products (especially their produce organic or otherwise).
