I'm in Calif and don't think we have this store but I

do know shopping at 3 Whole Foods in my area I will

see a huge difference in the freshness and quality of

produce. One store will have such fresh produce and

the next won't.

Rainy day mushroom pillow,

colors green, brown and yellow.

Wonder if they'll turn back ever,

contemplating what together,

poison dreams, assorted dreams, mushroom dreams.

It's interesting...Dover-Foxcroft has a huge new-ish Shaw's which carries a LOT

of stuff that I wasn't previously able to find in Maine. Hannaford (an old

small store) is keeping up fairly well and in fact, when it comes to produce, I

can often find items that I couldn't find at Shaw's.

I'm really surprised to hear this as I've found their prices to be much

better than the A & P where I used to do all my shopping. In fact much, much

better.....some items a dollar less and some even a dollar and change less.

Maybe because the store is new they're doing their best to suck people in, but I

would hope not. I guess only time will tell.

I think it's a beautiful store with a remarkable variety and I've been

beyond happy with the service and the products (especially their produce organic

or otherwise).
