Guest guest
Marilyn I am with you on Panini's. They are wonderful. I have a Breadman Panini machine. Just love it. I use it all the time. It is great to make these pressed sandwiches, with no added butter or oil on the outside of the bread isn't it....... Yumm....... I had my first Panini sandwich at the Atlanta Bread Company restaurant and was hooked........ The variety is endless that you can make isn't it? I see you have fun experimenting with different ingredients too. Just make the sandwich in the George Foreman Grill (I have the Hamilton Beach clone)!! You will find a new love for your bread. I just coat the bread on the inside with cream cheese (or vegan clone), add all sorts of vegetables, more cheese, perhaps a dab of salad dressing, grill until the cheeses are melting, and pig out. If you want a vegetable that won't work as well, you could stir-fry it. I do like my vegetables on the crisp side. With a panini, you can go wild and enjoy it!! Guest guest
Whatever I have on hand goes into my paninis, Judy. And the George Foreman (or my Hamilton Beach clone) works fine because there is heat from the top and bottom. I do love my cream cheese on it, but it isn't necessary. Another thing I love about them is they are fast and no cleanup!!! I come home from college, am tired, and can fix supper in a matter of minutes.
