Guest guest Posted September 21, 2007 Report Share Posted September 21, 2007 Maryann- Since you have an allergy to wheat itself and not the gluten I would say experiment with some of the other flours, oatmeal, potato, etc. I can't eat gluten so I can't eat oatmeal or rye. That limits me to rice, tapioca breads etc. Blah. Whole Foods has a couple of good house brand gluten free breads and there are new companies on the market. But I can't eat any of them without toasting the bread first. Just can't hack it untoasted no matter how much peanut butter I put on it. Kinnikinnick brand makes a pretty good bagel. Which gluten free breads have you found that taste good? What is the Kinnikinnick bagel made out of? Does it have soy or corn in it?
