Guest guest Posted September 20, 2007 Report Share Posted September 20, 2007 Spiced Red Cabbage 1/2 head red cabbage, diced 1 tart apple 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 T. red wine vinegar 1 bay leaf 1/2 t. ground cloves 1/2 t. pepper Optional: 1 pack stevia Boil cabbage in water for one minute. Drain and return to pot; stir in apple, onion, red wine vinegar, bay leaf, ground cloves and pepper. Can add stevia if desired. Cover and simmer 1 hour or until cabbage is tender. Remove bay leaf.
