Guest guest
I usually take leftovers from last nights dinner. I also like to make hummus and eat it spread on Belgian endive, now that is fast to grab in the mornings. A wheat tortilla spread with peanut butter you know the chunky type, and then a whole banana in the center, roll up and eat. I make a fast burrito too, I will pack some rice and beans and the take a tomato and onion along in the linchbag Donna Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile Maureen Mooney <mmooney49 Thu, 20 Sep 2007 12:28:57 To: Looking for Something new for lunch I am looking for some new ideas for my brown bag (well really cloth bag) lunch these days. I don't eat cheese, but eat most veggies. As fall approaches I love to make soup or " stews " to reheat at lunch... Any ideas you want to throw my way to add to my lunch bag? Guest guest
Greetings Maureen - We enjoy cold wraps for lunch - take your favorite tortilla shell (flour works the best) - try the flavored ones for a nice change. Then spread a little veganaise on the tortilla, and add THINLY sliced veggies like - ie; lettuce, tomato, cucumber, spinach, peppers, broccolli, radishes, sprouts, etc. You get the idea - WHATEVER you like cold, add a splash of Bragg or maybe a little relish or some thinly sliced " smoked " tofu and then roll the wrap up in a piece of wax paper, foil, etc. And, it's ready to go - no fuss no muss - These are very easy, delicious and can be as different as the day is long! What you put in your wrap is only limited by your imagination! Good luck and enjoy...we sure do. namaste' doc > I am looking for some new ideas for my brown bag (well really cloth bag) lunch these days. I don't eat cheese, but eat most veggies.
