Guest guest
Don't feel we are fighting a losing battle. There is more and more info out there, groups like this one help spread the word and the good vegetarian cookbooks are endless on the shelves and used copies are pennies on half.com and amazon.com. You just have to spend more time reading labels and that goes for everything. Preparing food at home is a sure way and there are so many quick and easy recipes out there. Seems like more people are turning down the veg road everyday! That's a good thing. Donna , Lucinda Hoffmaster <lucindahoffmaster wrote: I've been reading labels more closely. We were disturbed to read on her multivitamins: " This product contains fish (cod, pollock, haddock, hake, cusk, redfish, sole, flounder) ingredients. " Plus, gelatin is now listed as an ingredient as well! Sometimes I feel like vegetarians are fighting a losing battle. The only products you can trust are those you grow in your own garden. > > Lucinda
Guest guest
Thanks for the encouragement, Donna. You always know how to make us feel better! That's why this group is the best. By the way, I took your Zucchini Pie to a meeting this evening, and like you said, it got rave reviews, and people asked for the recipe. It's definitely a winner with everybody. I make it vegan, and it's still a huge success. And it's awesome for lunch the next day. Thanks for keeping us on the right track, in more ways than one! Lucinda Fussy? Opinionated? Impossible to please? Perfect. Join 's user panel and lay it on us.
