I had one shatter,years ago, and when I moved from the home, years later, I was still finding slivers of glass. They are sturdy, in general, but all you need do is hit one vulnerable spot, and you shall never go barefoot again. Hahahahahahaha. I take my hat off to anyone who enjoys Corelle, but I have never seen a pattern with any warmth, and the dinnerplates are too large.
