Guest guest
---Hey Joanne, I am right with you!! I joined this group last April and I needed to lose 40 pounds. I am not out of the woods yet, but have lost 24 pounds. YAY YAY YAY!!!! My cholesterol is down 20 points. YAY YAY YAY!!!!! I will admit it has been hard for me to go meatless. I can make it for quite a while, and then I get to feeling sick. So if anyone has any hints on that one please let me know. I would like to make it 100%. I will also tell you that I joined a diet group so that I do weigh in every week, with others and then listen to a meeting. I walk out of there, and feel like I can make it another week. I just take it one week at a time. But I love the ideas that you get at the meetings. I hope that you can find something like that. Check different ones out though, until you find the one that fits your personality and situation. I checked out a few, and am very happy with what I found. I love reading all of the e mails from people, and hope that someday soon I too will be totally meat free. I have to say, I dont even like it anymore. So I am really changing. -Sue In , Joanne Wilson <liberty12ellsworth wrote: > > Hi, > > My name is Joanne. I am new to Vegetarian eating. It > sounds like the way to go towards better health. Guest guest
Hi Sue: Thanks for the welcome and congratulations on your 24 lb weight loss. You are a great incentive. I know in my heart this is definitely the way to go. I do feel better. Doing the exercises are harder than eating correctly. I will take your advise about being in a group and encouraging each other. There are wonderful vegetarian recipies here... Joanne , " lovemym8 " <lovemym8 wrote: > > ---Hey Joanne, > I am right with you!! I joined this group last April and I needed > to lose 40 pounds.
