I think there is a recipe for Marinara Sauce made in the crockpot in the

files.

I have made it and it is TNT. It also freezes well.

Marinara sauce recipes and other things to use

with pasta

 

 

Pasta is something else that I eat a fair amount of. Although I don't

yet make my own pasta, I do plan on getting the pasta maker attachment

for my mixer. I'd appreciate some recipes for marinara sauce, or

other sauces and seasonings for pasta.

There is a bolognaise receipe in the files section called

" Giovanna's vegetarian bolognaise sauce "

It is absolutely stunning !!!

 

Here is my receipe for Egg Pasta:

I have others but this is the only one I use now.

 

4 eggs

1 tbs olive oil

1 tsp salt

2 cups plain flour

1 cup semolina

small amount water

 

On a flat surface form a well in flour and add all dry

ingredients then add eggs and mix slowly by hand.

Only add water if needed.

 

If you have a bread maker: use the dough setting

and just toss everything in and press start.

 

Freezes well, only lasts a couple of days in

the refrigerator.
