Guest guest
Hello, Well I am new to the vegitarian choice, so new in fact I have not completly switch over totally. A bit about myself, I am a 41 year old single mom of three girls who live with there dad in Montana.I go by the name of Jen or you can call me Angel which is my nic name. I have wanted to be vegitarian for a long time but when I was married he refused as he was a meat and potato man. So now, I live with my boyfriend on a ranch in Arkasas where we have eleven horses, ten dogs, ten cats, eight chickens, one guena bird and two rabbits. I have chronic anemia and am unable to process suppliments very well. The dotor who I was seeing had told me to just increase my red meat intake. Well I tried that and felt even sicker and my cholestral went up. So I have heard that there are people who are deficient in iron and follow a vegitarian diet and I want to give it a go. I think over all I would feel so much better. I read several of the post today and I have to put in here as a foot note. I grew up just blocks away from a pickle factory, it did stink, then I lived near a Purina process plant ... yuck, the town we lived in was near a town know for raising cattle, it stunk, I now live down the road from fourteen chicken houses and next to the purina factory I think they run pretty close to a tie for stink. The purina factory you never smelled it except for one day a week when they burned off the blood .... it was so sickening to smell let alone know why it was smelling. The chicken houses we dont typically smell except the once day a month they take out the chickens and clean up before putting in the new chickens. Then they drive past our house with the chicken litter *which I did not know had chicken parts in it* and it stinks. Now I am glad that we did not buy hay that was fertilized with chicken manure. Angel or Jen which ever you prefer.
