Lemon Asparagus 1 pound fresh asparagus 2 tbsp water 2 tbsp butter 1 to 2 tsp lemon juice a pinch of dried tarragon salt and pepper to taste Cut the asparagus into one inch pieces. Place the asparagus and water in a 1 1 /2 quart microwave safe bowl. Cover and microwave on high for 7 to 8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain Add the butter, lemon juice, and tarragon.
