I use russet potatoes and mash them so they are firm

and I use lentils that are brown and stay slighty firm

in texture. The red turn into soup.

If you eat eggs, you could add an egg to them and possibly a little flour.

Lentil Potato burger question

I finally got around to making these and although they tasted good

somehow they ended up rather a mess. They seemed more like potato

cakes - I used split red lentils which kind of melted into the potato

and the patties fell apart when I cooked them. Should I have used

either green or puy lentils? The potatoes I used were quite floury -

would a waxy potato be better?

TIA
