Guest guest Posted August 30, 2007 Report Share Posted August 30, 2007 Tempeh Lemon Broil Good with salad and crusty rolls for lunch, or with potatoes and green beans or peas for dinner. 2 8 oz. packs of any style tempeh 1 medium onion sliced into thin rings 1/3 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed 1/3 cup olive oil 1/4 cup soy sauce 4 large cloves of garlic, pressed Cut Tempeh into thin squares as shown. Arrange Tempeh squares in a glass 9 " x 13 " baking dish. Mix in a small bowl the lemon juice, olive oil, soy sauce and garlic. Place onion rings over Tempeh squares and pour lemon juice mixture over everything. Marinate 4 to 6 hours, basting occasionally. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Turn Tempeh pieces and broil for final 5 minutes of cooking. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon slices. ______________________________\ ____ Got a little couch potato?
