Guest guest Posted August 27, 2007 Report Share Posted August 27, 2007 Snow Peas with Sesame Seeds 2 cups water 3 tbsps. sesame seeds 1 pint snow peas 1 tbsp. shallots, chopped 1 tbsp. butter freshly ground black pepper Pour the water into a saucepan. Bring to a boil and add the snow peas to the pan. Blanch the snow peas for 1 minute and drain. Melt the coconut oil or butter in a nonstick frying pan. Add the sesame seeds and lightly brown them. Add the shallots and lightly brown them. Lastly add the snow peas and pepper and saute for 1 minute. Serve warm. Serves 2. Got a little couch potato? Check out fun summer activities for kids.
