Guest guest
MEATLESS MEATBALLS 1/2 c. oatmeal 1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs 1 c. ground walnuts 1 lg. egg 1 lg. onion, minced 1 pt. spaghetti sauce Mix all ingredients except spaghetti sauce. Shape into balls and brown in oil. Place in greased casserole. Cover with spaghetti sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. May be simmered in skillet over low heat for 45 minutes instead of baking. Makes about 10. This is from cooks.com, but I'm going to work up a better recipe. If anyone is familiar with kitchen bouquet, ( all veggie ), I know we can manufacture something, using TVP, brown rice, garlic, onion, mushrooms, bread crumbs, corn starch, perhaps parmesan. I'm just mulling these ingredients, so don't take them as a recipe, but I'm determined to come up with a fair to good substitute. I'll keep everyone informed. Hahahahahahaha.
