this hurricane,

when it lands, projected,

most probably will miss my town,

and looks like that little line is

going towards Naples

which is half an hour away.

 

my neighbors are boarding up their windows,

but we will wait, because theres a good

chance of dwindling before it even gets here.

 

my dh and I were kinda joking around how

we will take the cue to leave, once our winged friends leave,

or if we see seagulls going the other way. animals are much much wiser

that us.

so far, the animals are fine, although there was a

gossip ruckus with the crows this morning

they were gossiping about how crow so and so

is always taking up all the peanuts first

 

any way, worse case scenario, we will put all the furry creatures,

in the minivan which will be,

titi, tito, percibal, and our three month old kitten, edna st. vincent

millay.

 

we can't go to any shelter, cause Edna, hasn't got any shots

whatsoevr. we just picked her of off nyc streets and were planning

on getting shots when she was four months or something.

 

so far, the trees are still. last night the moon lyed in cotton. I

only saw her eyes.

 

I am not woe is me type, because I know that right now

some little kid in pakistan lost their parents

or some parent in pakistan lost their little kid

or someone stomach is grumbling.

 

I know I should not say this but, Naples is very affluent so my degree of

care is less.

 

when my time comes, I will die grateful to have lived a priviledged

live. I am too lucky.

I can die tommorrow just fine. Why? because I know that I tried to

help helpless and that I did the best for them that I could while I

had the chance. and I went to bed everynight thinking about them and

how I could help them more, or I try
